The third-generation Dodge Challenger, which is now in its sixteenth year of production,

continues to sell well due to its retro muscle car appearance and powerful engines.

In actuality, the Challenger outsold the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang in 2017.

In contrast to the 47,566 Mustangs and 24,652 Camaros, Dodge sold 55,060 Challengers in 2022.

That's an impressive accomplishment given that the Challenger has only had one modest redesign since 2008.

It's interesting to note that the V6 Challenger is the only one that has AWD; other V8 models only provide RWD.
