The Dodge subsidiary of Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA)) manufactures and markets the Dodge

Challenger, a performance muscle car coupe (or pony car) type.

The Dodge Challenger's vintage design and boxy construction contrast with the Dodge

Charger's more conventional appearance as a muscle vehicle.

But in 2005, Dodge started working on a new Challenger prototype that made its

premiere at the 2006 North American International Auto Show and entered production in 2008.
