I was raised in a home with a garage. We spent a lot of time at racetracks and auto events since my dad
worked as an engineer for General Motors. In the 1990s, I attended Purdue University for my undergraduate studies.
One day, while I was crossing campus, I saw a Dodge Viper on exhibit in the Engineering Mall. It had a hood up.
The coolest, most exotic American automobile I've ever seen, I thought. It featured a V-10 engine that Lamborghini helped to build.
I ended up having children, attending law school, and driving uninteresting vehicles.
But I began hunting for a Viper in 2016. I discovered one at a nearby dealer, purchased it, and I used it for five years.
